At Safe Streets Wichita, we believe harm reduction belongs everywhere—including our local nightlife. That’s why the Industry Initiative Project, led by Morgan Jennings, set out to place Naloxone Bar Boxes in 50 Wichita venues by 2025.
Naloxone (Narcan) is a life-saving medication that reverses opioid overdoses. By placing it behind the bar, we’re putting care directly into the hands of our community—where it’s needed most.
We’re proud to share that over 25 bars have already joined the movement and are now equipped with naloxone:
Participating Venues:
Brickyard
Norton’s Brewing Company
Morts Martini Bar
Rain
Pumphouse
Vagabond
Harry’s
Shamrock
White Crow Hard Cider
Central Standard Brewery
XY
Lucky’s
Barleycorns
J’s Lounge
Douglas Social
The Dive
Vorshay’s
Emerson Biggins Old Town
River City Brewing Company
Dirty D’s
A&J’s Music Room
Champs 316
Rhonda’s Place
Snug Harbor
Good Company
O’Larneys
Rock Island Live
These aren’t just bars—they’re community care hubs. With trained staff and stocked naloxone kits, these spaces are equipped to respond in the event of an overdose.
In addition, Safe Streets Wichita has partnered with businesses across the city to provide free harm reduction supplies, making compassion, safety, and dignity more accessible.
